I've been airsofting on and off for about 6 years now. I grew up (if you can even say I've grown up) in Dallas, TX
I'm am here because I'm about to begin a build for a DMR and have been sifting through threads in this forum as well as in others, trying to find the best platform, parts, etc. to make it happen. I'm not one of those guys who buys an AEG, puts a silencer on, and thinks he automatically has a DMR.
I mainly play on a "CQB" field called Fast Action Airsoft in Fort Worth, TX. The field has plenty of open areas that cater to snipers and DMRs, and while there are generally one or two snipers that show up, there are rarely any DMRs, and I've decided to fill those shoes. I've been using a KWA SR-10 since February, and while it performs quite well in stock form, I want the extra range and power of a DMR, so I'm ridding myself of all of my spare weapons and gear, to fund my new project, so here I am
