Hey!

So I want to make a SR25 DMR build, but was wondering which brand I should go for?

I was thinking about A&K, since I like the overall external style, but idk who compatible it is with upgrades - help!!

I think that the A&K is supposed to be the standard of SR25s for compatibility, so that would definitely be a good choice.

I would recommend
A&K
Jing Gong/JG
CYMA

As for engines, the Polarstar F2, Fusion Engine, and Kythera are the ones I'd recommend the most, followed by a Mancraft option.

Most recs I see here for that is the cyma one:

When on sale they are around 40/50 dollar cheaper than normal, however the cycles vary alot during the holidays, so I can't point you to when to look for the epic deals

If you are going HPA, any SR25 model will work. Since you are going for HPA, look for an SR25 with better externals, such like Classic Army or A&K. CYMA platinums also have good externals as well.

For engines its either the Kythera or Mancraft. Those are entirely mechanical and sturdy, cant go wrong with them. Mancraft has a V2.5 kit ready to go, while for the Kythera contact Polarstar for the correct nozzle.
