Im finally getting around to sorting my hap rig out but have a few questions regarding tanks/regs.

It seems that the highest regarded are the ninja tanks but these are not PI rated for the uk and europe so would be more hassle, so this leaves me with guerrilla tanks.

Has anyone used them?

There is also a large price difference from the steel 22ci tanks(£55) and the 60ci carbon tanks(£175).I know the carbon are better due to weight. But does the size matter so much for a bolt action?? How many shots are you looking at with a 22ci(they say 250-300 paintballs),i know getting a 60ci is probably the best idea as i do plan on getting a p*,but for now would a 22ci preform well with a bolt action.
What size tanks does everyone use?

Any help would be good

I have 2 72ci Pure Enegy steel tanks, I haven't use it on my P* yet but on my classics lasts about 2500-2800 bbs.
If you want to to be used with a bolt action sniper rifle you could even use a 8ci tank, on full auto P* you'll need one of the bigger tanks to last you for the entire day.
I like carbon tanks but with the cost of one you buy 2 steel tanks.

The low pressure regulator lowers the pressure from 3500psi to 800 and below. The max setting for airsoft is 200psi, with that pressure you could reach 1000 fps!
Keep in mind higher pressure causes increased wear on some parts.

Thanks.
Sorry if I sound like a noob,I do actually have some idea about rigs but have only used co2 bulbs, never large HPA tanks.

I know that I will need to reduce the pressure a lot to use with my rifle,my last co2 rig ran at 120psi max and was about 100psi for 500fps(If I remember correctly).
What I was asking was regarding the reg ontop of the tank, these range from LP 300psi to HP 800psi. Will using the HP(800psi) and then two regs make a difference to using a LP(300psi) and the two regs,or will it make no real difference. I might just buy the ninja reg that can be changed from 300-800psi.

Im having a real problem finding parts within the UK though. I now see why there not used as much as in the US.

Ive decided on using a AKA 2 litre reg fallowed by a arx20 reg, quite similar to the redline/p* set ups.
My last was similar but using a just a smc reg and bulb holder with low-pressure reg.

Tnkrizzo on classicairsoft is strong supporter of the AKA 2 litre reg and ARX20, he says this setup is better for high ROF rifles. I'll built one when I find the money.

I'm going to use my P* as a semi only so I don't really care about it.

Im wanting a rig that can be changed between all three .My bolt action and a p* in semi and full configurations.

I mainly chose it as it got reviewed very highly(paintball though) and reports of fps variances being as low as -/+ 2 without a second reg.
I notice the p* set up has them both together though and not with the ARX half way down the line.
