So, ive recently decided to give my receiver some needed tender care and lovin'

It regards a Well MB08 receiver (basically any L96 receiver or any bolt action for that matter would benefit from this), where I polished the inside of the receiver, where the bolt runs.

This resulted in a great increase in smoothness of the bolt!

(it now cycles forward, by simply tilting the rifle down!)

Its the Raven Cylinder set with a PDI Vacuum piston. I modified my cylinderhead and piston head with foam and some rubbers to keep the foam out of the way of the vacuum valve. There should be a pic of my piston on the forum somewhere...

I actually did not change anything on the cylinder or piston, i purely polished the receiver by:
-Sanding with 600+ grit (Wet)
-polishing with polishing compound (Came with the rotary tool) with a cotton rag.
-Buffing more with "Chrome polish" but you could even use toothpaste.

Stock receiver, primed and painted over with Krylon ultra flat black (that stuff is soo damn sexy to look at)

I've also did my TM G36K RS gearbox a while back. The top side is unpolished, and the lower is obviously polished.
