Definitely going to try that out at the next op I go to. I don't really like having the bipod on my rifle but if I take it off I might find myself needing it, so that's a really good idea rider.

I'll be straight up honest I am not speaking from airsoft experience. I shoot real steal non stop in tons of weird locations on my property and find that yes bipods are helpful but not necessary. There is ALWAYS somthing to rest your gun on and paying extra money is not necessary for something as unnecessary as a bipod. in my experience theres always a bipod, monopod, or tripod laying around if your sitting at a hide and plan on being there for a long time grab to stix pull out your multi tool and make one end pointy and stick them in the ground at the heighth you want. a free fix for a 30 up to 50 or more dollar fix.... Sorry again for this not being off of airsoft experience but if the stix will work for real steal im sure it will work for airsoft :)

I dont like having a bipod on my rifles when I play. Its not really for the little extra weight. It cause I tend to snag it on EVERYTHING,lol.. I only have my bipod for sitting my rifle down at games and for pics. I used to have one just for when painting my rifles. I dont see the sense in actually fielding them unless ya use something like a giant Barret or something. I do love the way bipods look and all, just dont like using em.. same for any sort of foregrip on assault rifles.. they always seem to get in my way and annoy me till I take it off and leave em in my junk bags.

I have an old well mb-10 and it came with a bottom rail and bipod. I discovered the bottom rail fits under the screws on my bar10 so I keep the bipod in a pouch like rider does and just attatch the bipod when I think I'm going to be in prone a while.

Isn't that what happens with everything  ? Always have the bipod with you in a game is what I tell my friends.

Yeah seems to be the way things go with me,lol.. if I wear my ghillie I wish I wasnt,if I dont wear it I wish I did,lol.. I cant EVER seem to make up my mind it seems.. if I get an Ak I change it to what I want, then a game ot two later I have to change it to something else.. I just need to win the lottery so I can have 5 of everything.. I like Ak's,M14's,SR25's and bolt action rifles and Svd's..lol.. so I imagine so many variations of each one and cant decide what I want more so I customize like 10 times till my screw holes are crappy and dont hold tight etc,lol.. I need a full wall of each rifle I like,hahaha..

I think that it is entirely unnecessary. You can always support your gun with some foliage and dirt.

It only adds weight to the gun and maces it clumsier.

I have basically the same gun, mine is heaver due to the full length rail but I use a bipod. If anything it just add to the sniper look! Where I play its flat wood lands, no rocks or major mounds, and if your sitting for 5 plus mins with your gun rested on your arm, you can get tired. Plus being able to get low and prone is handy.

I made my ghillie suit a crawl suit because i prefer prone and crawling. If I am in prone most of the time, not kneeling or standing up, it is handy to have a bipod. Like I said before, just keep it in a pouch and it doesn't add weight to the gun. I timed myself and i can put it on and set it up in five seconds.
