OK double edged problem here. First up bbs occasionally find their way backwards into the bolt area so I am unable to put the bolt handle down.

Secondly the rifle inconsistently feeds in general.
Doesn't matter what brand of ammo or which of my seven mags I use.

Am I the only person who has suffered from this?

Most feeding issues are caused by the mag spring being weak. Pull it apart and stretch it. Then put it back in the mag. It will be hard to put the mag back together but eventually you will suss it out.

Which hopup unit are you using? I had the same with my Action army and my BB stoppers were worn out. Replaced does and voila fixed.

1tonne- I'll look into the magazine issue. Probably end up putting a spacer or two in to sort out the spring tension.

Cleanshot- it's the stock unit with a dangerworx type B hop arm thrown in. I'm planning on dropping in a spare hop unit since this rifle has seen two years of abuse so parts are bound to wear right?

Also, Double feeding issues can be fixed by putting in a bigger or new spring above this part in your hopup:

And don't put a spacer in the mag. Just stretch the spring a little.

The little c clip you've picked about looks pretty worn so that's one less item to look at. What are the odds thw double feeding is causing some of the bbs to fall backwards into the bolt area?
