Hi everyone, been lurking here for a while and decided to join!

I started airsoft a couple months ago after years and years of being interested but not being able to play because of time/money as a student, after getting interested when those first few novritsch videos got released. Now that I have a stable job and spare time I have finally been able to play!

I'm based in london and play at skirmish airsoft billericay when I can. So come say hi to me if you play there as well.

I am currently working on a G&G CM16 Raider 2.0 to get comfortable with teching and to build a reliable backup for if something breaks, or to borrow out to friends. I'm also looking at pistols atm, looking at either an mk23 or a hi-capa and sticking a silencer on there. While also planning parts for a future vsr10.

As for sidearm, I think MK23 would be better if you want to put a suppressor. Putting it on blowback guns won't affect the sound that much.

I am aware! I was just thinking it would be nice to have a bit more versatility incase I felt like playing a bit more run and gun/cqb instead of sneaky. Without having to buy two pistols. The mk23 doesn't sound practical for those situations because of the heavy trigger pull.

Hey there

The MK23 trigger is over hyped, it's not really that heavy, just long. You can shoot it really fast, not as fast as a good Hi-Capa, but probably as fast as an SSP1 going off memory.
