Hello,
My name is Seth(callsign- Krutch). I have been playing airsoft for many years now. Up until last week I never seriously considered the role of sniping in airsoft. I assumed that they were ineffective, a properly tuned AEG could beat a sniper rifle. I had never actually been intimidated or threatened by a sniper in my whole 5 years of being in this sport.
This all changed last weekend after I attended Operation [email protected] The Cove. It was a 21 hour milsim that was held at a campground in the Appellation Mountains. Thick brush and steep rocky inclines made the AO extremely slow to move around in. It also made me change my opinion on the effectiveness of snipers in airsoft. Alpha Company sniper teams destroyed multiple squads and made continuos assaults very difficult. I wish that i could have meet some of them in order to shake their hands for kicking our asses.
Long story short, they made me want to learn about and possibly become a "sniper"
Im looking forward to learning about this amazing art.
And yes, I am already reading stickys. I'm more of one of those read first, ask questions later type people.
