So I'm looking I believe at the Modify M24 line of rifles on evike, and they have a ModX Gspec, which I've heard the ModX is a clone of the SSG 24, but I'm seeing that the SPS line is cheaper?

Does anyone know what modify is cheating out on with the SPS line? Or is it the same as the SSG, and Evike is trying to liquidate them?

After looking at all of the mod24 models on modifys website and evike I'm 99% sure the sps is the same as the ssg24. The older models came with led tracer mags and some different internals like the ultralight piston and some with 6.08 barrels, and they didn't have the spiral fluted barrel. Then there's the newest mod24x with the same internals as the ssg24 except it comes with the green ultralight piston instead of the gold piston, and has the g spec model available. I guess that's why the mod24x is the most expensive model on evike. With the price evike is selling the SPS for at the moment I believe it is a pretty good deal and is kind of making me want to pick one up myself if the build im trying doesnt work out. Hard to beat a pre upgraded $285 rifle with full replacement parts available from Novritsch.

No differences and no (real) cheats. It simply is a version of the SSG24 not sold under the Novritsch branding, hence no longer had the middleman in between.
