Deluxe Ghillie Suit Woodland Forrest Farmland Camo for Hunting, Paint Ball

I was considering getting this ghillie suit. So I was wondering if you guys have bought any ghillie suits from AllPredatorCalls and if they're fairly good. I just need a starter ghillie for a cheap price which I'm gonna base my real ghillie off of. XD

Seems like I'm helping you out again. I think I deserve the Most Helpful Award on the forums. So, heres the deal. Getting a premade ghillie suit is a horrible decision. Literally every leaf you get near will snag onto you. Its also a waste of money. You could just make it yourself! Look up some tutorials online and you cant go wrong with it.
You really don't want to get one of those bro, they suck big time(I made the mistake of buying one). As stated above, the synthetic jute WILL grab everything and not let go. The full body net design grabs many things as well.
Ya I know that they will suck but I did the math and if I made one it would probably end up being more expensive than buying one.

Full BDU outfit: $30
Netting: $10
Glue: $5-10
Jute/Burlap: $30-50
Etc.

You see, it ends up being more expensive...
But sooo much better!! And I presume you dont want to spend money on a ghillie suit twice?...
Hmmmmm... True. Ok I'll hold off of buying it and instead start to see what I should buy. Do any of you guys have good links to jute/burlap/ghillie? Also I need netting but I don't know where to get some...
Jute should be available in your local DIY store. As for netting, you can use Pea and Bean Gardening netting that you should be able to get in a DIY and/or gardening store. Or fishing or sports netting if you can find it.
Ok thanks. I'll search around a little bit and see what I find. :D
And if you have to wait a bit to get it, but some camo BDU's in the mean time. You dont need a ghillie suit to snipe. But it would help greatly, and in my opinion, a ghillie suit defines a sniper.
Just another tip, if you want to use glue, shoe goo is fantastic, used it with mine, works a treat, i added thread through certain stress points though just to make sure it would maximize the strength
I actually never found shoe goo. And when I was asking around for it people had no idea what I was on about!
Ya, depending on your location you may not find shoe goo, one thing that I'm using is stronger upholstery thread. There are many options out there though.

Here's your link -http://www.ghilliesandstuff.com/store-categories-Ghillie-Suit-Kit_3338850.html
If you are building to last, use a strong thread and follow that with a touch of shoe goo which is usually found in craft stores such as "JoAnns".
You can find shoe goo at wal-mart in the shoe department. Funny I find E6000 easier then shoe goo. E6000 is the industrial version of shoe goo.
I don't know what you guys mean by show goo, but I found some show goop which I'm guessing is the same.
I'm planning on actually just building a ghillie cape or a ghillie cape with arms, kinda like Coldy's ghillie. Can you guys suggest any tutorials or ideas?

Something like the guys on the left and right. Also where do you guys get separate hood pieces? I've always wondered that
If you watched Shooter, at the beginning of the movie they blended in perfectly with the tall grass. You have to go to your field and know the colors of it. Then you spray paint your sniper those colors and make the ghillie that color. Adding vegetation in game helps you blend in as well.
I haven't watched the shooter yet and I already know the colors of my field and I already painted my gun those colors. Now I'm just wondering where you guys get the separate hood pieces and how I can make a ghillie cape like Coldy's and the ones in the pictures.
