Issues with Forum Search

I'm trying to dig up information on a WE GBB m14. I figured I'd do a search of the site. Unfortunately, it keeps telling me "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."

To test the search and make sure there was no information on the site related to the M14, I did a search for VSR. Same results.

I figured I should post something about the search tool having problems.

Look right under where is says that and you will see the reason why it excluded those words from thew search.
What problems are you having? It works perfect for me.. :pop:
His problem was the search function wouldn't work, but it excludes words under a certain length or if it is used too often. It's not a problem, it's just an annoying thing with the search.

Yeah, annoying is right. I feel life a dofus. :-/
Nah it 's fine. Took me a while too until I finally found out why it wasn't accepting the word "vsr" LOL.
Yea you can only search for words that have a minimum of 4 letters (anything less than that would be VERY server-intensive and cause problems).. but I thought you were maybe having other problems with it too.

But yea that's normal for most all forums...the search will always be a 4-letter minimum on words.
I've had issues where I couldnt get result from full words. I just quit using it and try to remember where the threads were.
Weird, I just tried it with about 15 different words and it worked perfectly every time. *shrug*
Must be browser or OS settings. You can't have every site work perfectly all the time.
I use my phone so thats probably why. Google works perfect though.
