Hey guys,
My name is Jay and I'm currently based in Ireland. My day job revolves around technology and the biotech industry,

I got into airsoft recently and I am having some fun bringing some electronics related items to Airsoft with an emphasis on communications equipment and surveillance related projects.

I don't really have much interest in skirmishes but like the more Mil-Sim longer events that allow me to get into the zone of the game.

Currently building my own ghillie suit in addition to my tech projects which is a lot of fun.

Cant wait to see some of you guys out on the field.

Welcome to the forum. Can you post some photos of the equipment and electronics you bring to the field? What exactly do they do?

Yeah I'll get some photos together, some of it is generic stuff, PMR446 radio repeaters for larger events, satellite photos on rugged portable computers, military grade laptops for strike planning etc

I'm looking into building some more specific things like remote cameras and audio surveillance systems.
Squad tracking over GPS, where you would be able to see your squad members exact GPS position on a satellite map,viewable on a small wrist mounted device or a smartphone or tablet computer.

I don't claim that I have many original ideas as many of these things are in use by the military but custom making them from civillian equipment can be tricky at times!
