Has anyone tried this and could they confirm if it actually increases FPS. Wouldn't it also shorten the life of the piston because it would hit the wall of the cylinder harder? Also, if you cut it half way, then would cutting it only 1/4, leaving 3/4, increase the FPS just a little bit?

If i were to not cut any parts or do any mods that would potentially ruin the rifle later, what parts would have to be bought to increase the fps on this rifle?Ideally I'm trying to reach 450fps with a .30 bb
thanks for the info, so given im firing .28g bb at 380fps, approximately what is the yardage in terms of distance and accuracy am i looking at? given a general rifle such as the jg bar or the vsr, sorry im still learning the science behind this sport.
