There ae. When I first tried to take the cap off mine I had to use a pair of huge pliers but If there is glue, which I am still not sure of, take a hair drier, put it on hot, and heat up he end cap for a few minutes. The threads should be reversed to righty loosey left tighty. I sanded the stock end cap so it is a looser fit now so I can just pull it off but it doesn't come off it it bumps into something.

I sat my barrel in boiing water for about 5 minutes and it twisted off with ease..
Boiling water is probably an easier method than holding a hair drier that doesn't get as hot.

Guess that one is different. I the OP is talking about my BAR-10 which i traded him, the cap wasn't threaded. It has mounds along the outside to grab all the threads and not spin, but it's not threaded. It's was glued, but I was able to get it off with just my hands.

My cap also has those mounds that just grip the threads. You still have to twist it to get it off but it doesn't follow the path of the threads. I think he was talking about the threads on the barrel because he mentioned an adapter.
