Hi, so I'm new to the sniper sneaky stuff. I decided to change from aeg (ASR 115) after it died and got feed up with all its problems. Maybe a project Lazarus for that m4 as a DMR. Anyway now I want to go for a vsr build. I plan to take a bar 10 because there is no point in taking TM VSR 10 gspec if I'll change all the inner parts.

Plan for vsr Bar10-g:
1. Action Army Teflon Cylinder for VSR series rifles
2. Action Army stainless steel spring guide for VSR series rifles
3. Action Army Specialised Trigger group for VSR rifles
4. Laylax PSS10 170 Spring for VSR-10 series

5. Action Army VSR10 Hop up Chamber
6. Maple Leaf DELTA System Hop Up Rubber for GBB / VSR - 70
7. Maple Leaf Autobot Bucking 70
-don't know which will work better.
8.The Maple Leaf 428mm 6,04 Crazy Jet VSR GBB Inner Barrel
9. STALKER Panthera Concave Nub
-if luck is on my side I will find a Maple Leaf one

The problem is that at the moment I kinda reach +510 € and at this rate I'm better off with the SSG24 508€, some of the companies tax 20 € and I got like extra 50€ just on tax.

Here I fixed it for you:

Plan for vsr Bar10-g:
1. Barrel spacers from duct tape and whatever foam you have. Teflon tape on bucking, cylinder head. 2-5€
1. Action Army VSR10 Hop up Chamber. 50€
2. Maple Leaf Autobot Bucking 70 (either would work but I'd go with this one, you get an extra ring for leak stopping ♂) 7-10€
2. Concave nub. (Maple leaf omega 7€)
3. Metal/aluminum spring guide/piston; any would do, why waste money on just a metal rod/guide; as for piston, choose whatever 90 degree. 22-40€ (chinese aluminum piston/guide + bonus spring (500fps;150m/s~ so they state, mine clocked at 580fps;177m/s~ +-1m/s) or for ex. airsoft pro steel guide/piston)
3. Jj airsoft 90 degree trigger; may or may not need some fiddling (a washer/file) to install but costs 35€ vs aa 150€, I'll fiddle any time any place for that kind of dosh. Alternatively airsoft pro zero trigger kit for 108€: includes piston, trigger, s steel guide and spring of your choosing; a bit more expensive than getting all parts individually (~20€)
4. Whatever brand spring 170. Free-15€ (bonus spring from chinese kit or action army springs go for 15€, I got mine for 10€)
1/5. Clean your own barrel, you'll get good results until you can splash for The Maple Leaf 428mm 6,04 Crazy Jet VSR GBB Inner Barrel 50€
6. Cylinder. Again, airsoft pro sells black steel/nickel coated for 33/40€ vs aa teflon 80€~. Not really needed, until you break stock, which will take considerable time unless you'll shoot it on full auto all the time, still, it'll take a while.
7. Cylinder head/nozzle. 14€ You may install it whenever to help with airseal, I'd get one when getting the cylinder. Even then it's a question of do you want it.

Total:225 - 285€; almost half the price with quality parts and more than half if you cut corners where you can. And you can save on the cylinder/barrel 100€ until you need it. It'll be more than enough to get kills with.

If I didn't forget anything, that's it.
Just for comparison, I've spent 70€ on well mb03 and 72€ on upgrades, yesterday at a game I've got two 70m kills with one being headshot, 7 shots fired. Conditions were in my favor tho (read: will not happen always).

Leetwood has a pretty good setup there (I skimmed it)

I would probably still get the Laylax SP170 though as they are renowned for quietness. No twang sound
Also as Leetwood said, the Bar10 has a reasonably good cylinder. So use it until it does die. It should last a year or two with an SP170.
You shouldn't need a new cylinder head either as the air seal with the AA chamber should work well.

Don't let any grease in your bucking. This screwed up my bucking when i put too much grease inside my cylinder and the grease eventually got on my bucking that way. This got my joules drop to under 2 joules with .43 bbs and horrible accuracy. I think i will have to buy a new bucking so...
