im building a sniper out of a bar 10 and im upgrading the internals to around 550 fps. i was wondering, with my budget, if i should invest a bit into a new hop up chamber or if i should just keep the stock chamber. im getting overwhelmed by all of this... any help is appreciated. thank you all.

Depends on your budget, if you have a really tight budget you could probably get away with doing some DIY mods and get decent performance. If you can afford it however, you should definitely get an action army hop up chamber because everyone seems to agree that it's a great chamber.
