Ok I know there are tons of Bar 10 mods/upgrade. But I just found something and I wonder if this is good. There not much info on it because it is very new. I am wondering if this set up would be good.
Bone yard JG bar10 40dollars
Cylinder set from evike $78

Angel Custom Sear sets 40 dollars.

King Arm Bucking for vsr 10

So I am recapping my question
Is the cylinder set from evike a good Idea.
And Is this a good set up say I am gonna get a tightbore soon(not listed)

Make an intro post before this forum eats you up and spits you back out to the mods. Don't get the cylinder set if you plan on doing more upgrades/ want a very good gun. If I were you I'd get the sears, replace the BAR-10 hop up unit for it's superior original the VSR one, get a tightbore and replace the cylinder set for one from xfire airsoft. Oh and keep a good bucking in the VSR hop up unit.

Grass is right. The bar-10 is notorious for slam firing due to a weak sear set. Upgrade that or replace the whole gosh darn thing with a new box altogether.

In addition, find a TM chamber in stock (check ehobbyasia) and buy that ASAP. You should be set for awhile in terms of buying stuff.

Just do some more DIY mods on the piston head and cylinder head and regrease the cylinder set and you will be good to go.

And also, like has been said, please make an intro post. :) Welcome aboard!

Ok First what is a intro post.
Second Im pretty sure I would just go with the matrix kits till I save up the money to get something nice. Most likely the pdi vc cylinder set and a zero trigger and more.
And should I get a pdi hopup or just stay and get like a tm one.
Tnaks for helping

A post where you introduce your self. ::)

Please listen and spend the extra 30$ and get a nicer PDI kit. Same with the z-trig... just save some money and get something worth your time.

Also, both the hop up chambers are nice, it's your pick as to which one you want. The PDI is more expensive, but can be more finely adjusted.

You guys do realize that the piston with the matrix set is 90 degrees and the area where the bolt handle is attachdmto is brass and held together by a small pin. One last note, the last time I was around a bar-10, it didn't like PDIs dimensions, but that could've changed.
