I'm new to snipers and am looking to get a rifle that I can upgrade fully. I've looked around the forum and believe that my best starting point is a JG rifle. M question now is which one?

I like the Bar-10 G-Spec because it's highly upgradable and seems to have pretty good stock performance so I can slowly do upgrades as I learn. I'm also interested in the JG M70/700. My concern with it is that it seems like it's not that great stock, but can it be upgraded? I've heard different things about it. Some say it's just a longer Bar-10 and is fully upgradable, and I've also heard that it can't be upgraded at all. I'd like to know which it is, and if it is upgradable, how long is it's barrel? Because I plan on using around a 500mm barrel in whichever rifle I purchase.

JG M70 is suck. Don't bother with it !

It seems to only look like vsr but not really be vsr compatible. Note the "We do not upgrade" text in tthe short description on taiwangun.

Inner barrel is 510mm

It looks like a WELL rifle more than a Jing Gong. If it was Jing Gong then, yes it would be VSR compatible but I am willing to bet that it is not (Even though it says JG). It will be a WELL rifle. WELL say they are VSR compatible but they are not unless you do major alterations.

I know the feeling man! Been looking for alternative rifles to the Bar and vsr-10, but they simply are the best. There are a few other rifles you could consider though.
FN SPR M40 A5 - 90% vsr comp, olny seems to be hop up thats a little different (require mods to fit) also some screw holes in the stock needs to be filed larger to fit some vsr parts.
Cyma CM701 -turned out to be a pretty good comp, all the internals seems to fit with little to none modifications. This rifle uses another magasine though, the vsr mags can be modded to fit.
