By no open hole, are you referring to the back of the stock or the front? On mine, I had to fill the stock with foam by stuffing it down with my finger (with the rifle dissembled), and then take an allen wrench and push it down as far as I could through the open area where the trigger box and cylinder unit would go (if attached). Just keep doing that until it won't go any further. Thats how I was able to get itleast alittle foam in the stock (better than nothing).

.3s will definitely give you more consistent shots if there is some wind. I found myself using .4s, but .3s should do the job.

Enjoy the rifle man. DIY mods are fun, cheap, and easy. Good luck!

I have the rifle where the 2 bolts that hold the top reciever to the stock are built in and kinda block that hole that fuzzy is talking about. Like theres no real way i can see getting any foam back there. Ill check it out again but it looks pretty sealed off. Oh and i was referring to the front of te back of the stock. Haha kinda confusing. Its the area where the trigger mech would sit the looking back int the stock were the thumb hole is.
Yeah, I know what spot you are talking about. Sounds like yours might be sealed off. Thats a real shame. Not to sure why they would do that though. You would know where to put it if it was not sealed off, so looks like no foam in the stock for you :'(
