Well like I have said in other posts.... I have a KC-02 coming to my house here some time this week. It already has a wooden stock on it, as well as an Ra-Tec 6.01 inner barrel through her.

I have ordered an Archangel 10/22 target stock, http://www.opticsplanet.com/pro-mag-ruger-10-22-archangel-deluxe-target-stock-aats1022.html , should be here by the weekend or so.

I will also be adding an Npas system to the rifle, and possibly SBR the rifle to make it great for a CQB rifle. So I may be making my own barrel for it as well :D

I will get some pics and some status of the build as it comes up.

Ok... How you make those pulls....may need a few of those.
I just about bought that rifle custard ;) You just got to it a tad before I did.

Just got an email saying that the stock should be here by the weekend or so.
That thing that bad or what??
Wait till you see what I have planned for mine ;)

Been scouring the web for a few things to make her "mine", and like everyone around here says, I will build it and probably end up selling it anyway.

The rifle isn't a direct drop in. If you look at the pics that george posted you can see that tab on the back of the receiver..... real steel 10/22's don't have that, they just have a single mounting point forward of the mag ( if I remember correctly). So to be a drop in for any 10/22 stock you either need to modify the stocks, or just cut that tab off and call it a day.
Lol ..... You go through rifles like I do :D
Well down here at my in-laws house and upon checking the tracking number for the stock..... it is sitting on my front porch. I can only hope that the rifle is sitting there for me as well :D

If so I will try and get some pics up and let you guys see what I am planning on doing with this new project.
Well rifle is at my house and it is time for me to start "woogieing" this rifle!!!

What do you guys think for barrel ports...... just plain jane holes or slots? I do have access to a Bridgeport mill as well as a good sized lathe now, so plan on doing some custom work on this baby!

Going to be my CQB sniper beast!

Ok well I got home and the rifle is here now. After some dremmel work, and filing I was able to get the rifle into the Archangel target stock. She still needs a little bit of work to fit nicely, but that will come in time. Was able to put 2 mags through her, and she has one heck of a pop to her, and she will really be loud inside a building!

I am planning on cutting back the barrels, and adding a faux suppressor at the end, and a few other things as well.

I will try and have some pics up tomorrow.

I had to do some mill work to make the receiver fit, and I am planning on making a carbon fiber barrel as well ;)

That is still the stock outer barrel for now ..... I am looking now on Ebay for some carbon fiber scrap, and then I will make some caps for the ends.

Right now I have a WE M4 Npas system for the rifle, but I can not for the life of me figure out how to install it! Being as I am probably only going to be using this as a CQB/Scout rifle I am needing the fps to be a very consistent 350-400 ( depending on field ) Would anyone have any idea on how to install this darn thing?

Barrel idea.....

Something like this, but I will have something else at the end of her ;)
It kind of does.....

Well I found some scrap carbon fiber tubing in my shop, and will be able to use that for the outer barrel. Will try and get things started here tomorrow after work ;)

Semi finished, still need to make the notch for the barrel attachment slot in the carbon fiber.

I also have a larger tube of carbon coming that I am thinking of making a suppressor ( mock of course ) for the rifle. Should be here early next week or so.

Correct cheese I did make that end cap. There is still some small finishing work that I will have to do to the end cap, but I am able to do that on my mini lathe in my basement. I did that work on the large machine lathe I have at work ;) I think it is something like a 20"x9' or very close to that, and has a little over a 1" through chuck, both a 3 and a 4 jaw chuck and a variety of collets and lathe dogs.

I am looking for around the 350 mark, because like you said it will be used in a CQB area. I have a little more work to do on her, but she is getting there.

Well I think it is time for an update :D

After some work on the lathe this is what I came up with .... just need to epoxy and make the parts permanent.

In the lathe and ready to get started. Began as a 3" chunk of aluminum.

Using cut off saw to part off the material, I actually took it back to the lathe and knocked down the back side for the end cap ;)

Spacer for both parts of carbon fiber tube, as well as a barrel spacer. It is around 3-4" long, so plenty of meat to hold the barrel in place.

And then there is the end cap.

I still need to do some small cleaning up, but for the most part she is done. Just need to get the rifle together and get some shot through to make sure the end cap hole is large enough.

I should do that, as I already have the stuff to do that as well :p
Right now I am able to get around the 250 mark if I really push it. But being as this is going to be for some close in work, I am making it as accurate as I can at around 150.

And coaster.....everything is always for sale ;)
Well have the rifle shooting, and not I can't leave well enough alone :D

I am going to take off the large suppressor and make a fun little muzzle break. I will be able to swap them from one to the next, or I can just make another entire outer barrel assembly.

Will try and get it started and done here tonight, and will attempt to get some pics up as well :D
Well I got everything done and tested..... and sold the rifle :D

She did shoot good, but I am more looking for an M4 right now, and have an MK18 on its way to me.

Here is a copy of the muzzle break that I made just before I sold her.... :p
