I can see you've put some work in - but probably not as much as I was expecting. Might have to keep my eyes open as one thing I've never owned yet was a good gas rifle.......well, the WE SVD but I never really got to play with that and it was rather temperamental.

Yeah, the WE SVD is pretty temperamental. If you want a good gas rifle, a king arms wont let you down, but they do have a bit of a price tag. Then the mags are hideously expensive, but if you are looking at a gas rifle you already know this. The PPS/SHS Kar98 is a pretty solid rifle with room to flex. CO2 mags are available too. PPS 11Rds CO2 Magazine - for Kar 98K | WGC Shop included are some extra bits to make the rifle work with the mag as it is higher pressure.
