Now for the guide
Stock the gun was pretty good for me (maybe because my previous snipers accurate range was only 130ft). But out of the box it was crappy. First things first, make custom barrel spacers. This made my gun have no Left/Right/Up/Down spin giving it an accurate range of 140ft. I played my first game with it and it did pretty good. It was a sunday and there were only 6 people. We played for 3 hrs, thats around 4 games (because we talk) and i went had four kills and zero deaths. During game, hop was inconsistent.
I just recently received my mad bull 6.03 tbb, moondog O rings, and factory improved hop (it was just a new stock hop up), my gun would shoot at an average of 530fps. Now after the upgrades it can hit a 1x2 street sign at 180 ft away 7/10 times aiming at the top of the sign. Its maximum accurate range is probably 190ft and max range 230ft. With the KA hop and .32 bbs (which i am anticipating) it should be accurate to 200ft and have a max range of 240ft.
First after you open the box, take apart the gun, clean out excess oil and add DIY barrel spacers. Next would be a tight bore.For gas guns, 6.03-6.05 would be sufficient. It lets the gas expand behind the BB giving more fps/range. Next would be to get a new hop up bucking. The king arms Vsr bucking is the BEST. After that its what your gun needs.
I just received my KA Bucking and .36 bbs. My BBs, Shiba Dojo .36s are a B+ in my opinion. When I inspected them against my KWA .3s and Matrix .28s, the .36s did pretty good. Pros: Heavy, white (they also make .4s and .43s in white), good price, shoot fine. Cons: In the first mag I used, the 3rd bb cracked when cycling the bolt, but none have since, not polished, minor blemishes. As for the KA bucking, I wouldn't work until I moved my Teflon tape mod. Now it works perfectly.
