So my kjw is having some serious problems and cant quite figure out what is causing this. So the problem is suddenly it decides it wants to start shooting about 8 feet and lower. The only mods I have done to it is the upgrade striker spring and thats it i also use propane.

i will try anything lol

thanks guys

When you say eight feet and lower, do you mean it shoots a distance of eight feet or shoots lower than it usually would?

If it is just shooting lower than it usually would did you try adjusting the hop up. Sometimes that can be a simple problem, but easy fix. Here is a quick list of what I think might be wrong.

1. Hop up (like said above)
2. Leaky mag: my friend had a leaky mag, and his gun would not shoot well, because there was hardly any gas staying in the mag.
3. Torn bucking?

Thats all I can think of at the moment. Hope this helps.

I don't think that it is a leak in the mag anymore because i have oiled all of the o-rings, and it is holding the gas.

I will order a new hop up when i get paid to see if that is the problem, any one know what the best one would be for this?

also its just shooting about eight feet from the barrel, and won't even go through a piece of paper at point blank :'(

thanks for the help and i will get back with it again after i get the new hop.

Yeah i am using the WE's and i tried the goldens too.

I am starting to think that there are mass air leaks all around, mad to bolt, bolt to hop and so on.

but for now until I can figure it out I am going to work on the CA

thats cool My m14 is fixed and shooting like a dream

the only other thing i can think of that would slow the BB down that much would be a problem in the barrel. But if its the Barrel slowing down the BB then you'll need a massive cleaning or the barrel is done. :-/

but the place i would start is on the hop up chamber either buy a 2roy or a micrometer and we'll seal off the gap from the 2 seperate peices of the stock KJW hop up

Sounds like a problem with the bucking. When I installed a new bucking in my m4 rifle, I did it wrong and the shots went literally ten feet. Not to mention, went at an fps of 100. I would check the bucking, that definitely sounds like the problem.
