KJW mag problem

My M700 just arrived today, it is shooting great but there is a problem, my magazine falls out of the mag well 1/10 times I cock the rifle. So every mag I've gone through at least once it would fall out. Can anybody tell me what's wrong?

Problem with the mag catch. You may have to make sure it is engaging properly, which may require some filing of the mag.
I found it stays in 100% of the time when the bolt in a closed position, but anytime it is pulled back the mag is loose and can be pulled out without using the mag release
Undo the two screws that hold the mag well in slightly until it locks in.

I have this same problem with my tanaka ltr. But only when the mag well is in the gun. If I remove the mag well they lock every time.

Im still not 100% sure what causes it as the mag doesn't make contact with anything on the rifle and this happens even when the bolts out.

Thanks bitchtits, this saves me so much trouble. It worked.
I second what was said above. A friend of mine had the same problem..

On a second note - and related to this kind of magazines: is it normal for the mag
to wobble a little when sitting in place? The bolt still catches the BB and loads it and the mag valve sits below the bolt..but it still wobbles a little in the sense that you could push it a little more towards the receiver or tilt it a bit.

I think this is kinda normal and allows the bolt to slide easily without tearing against the valve.. But I might have to shim the receiver to make the mag sit more on top..hence my doubt.

I used the thread since it is a similar question and same title I would have used ;) I hope it is ok.
Yeah there is slight play in the mag,its also like this with the long mags.
If i remember my AICS was the one with the least amount off movement.

Trying to reduce it might be a good thing, anyway?

..if I could try and shim it by taking the lower receiver out and testing it on the magazine, I'd be happy ..and quick..but I suspect I might have to put everything back at each test and try it out "fo'real" :)
My magazine wobbles a considerable amount compared to an M4 mag. I don't think that should be the case. It sits fine without trouble but the wobble is alittle offsetting.
I had to fix my trigger in the last days and now my
Rig needed some Teflon taping..next thing I'll try and fix the wobble and let you know. Project guns..have your life and your wallet ready.
