Yes, if you are going to get the G&P M14 which I think is a v2 or v3 GB. It will support the functioning of a heavy spring.

Lets say you are going to do this. This is what I have to be installed in my TM M14 when things start going south. Keep in mind field limits are 550 fps and I am going to only use semi. Which will make it a sniper rifle.
