I was up visiting a friend this evening and we were having a chat about some mods we were going to do to a rifle. I was sitting there with a well l96 hop unit in my hand and found a small laptop screw in my pocket, I had an I wonder moment so gave it a try to see if it would fit in the hole where the screw goes through the mag catch and attaches to the hop, to my amazement it fitted
I just thought I would pop it on here in-case it is of any use to anyone, I cannot say if it will work on all hop units but if you find yourself missing that screw have a wee hunt around and see if you have an old laptop lying around and try the screws it might just solve the problem

As a matter of fact I do need to replace my L96's magazine catch screw.

A friend of mine cut some screws down that were too long for the mag catch and now they fit perfect in l96 mag catches. Flat heads too.
