Just wondering if anyone likes to use, collect or make lasers and torchs.
I had a 200mw green laser (Lost)
I had 2 30mw green lasers - one taken off me by the airport another by the police - don't ask but no I was not doing ANYTHING irresponsible as that would make people want to make these lasers illegal.
I had 2 50mw lasers - one I gave as a present and I have the other.
I have a 200mw one but I reckon it only puts out 75mw- 100mw. Not a good burner though.
Torches
I have an LED lenser P5 (I think) - Good torch - not worth what I paid for it though and comes with a built in magnifier. I think it is 250 lumens, not sure.
I have a Solarforce L2 infrared version for NVG's and I am getting a drop in unit for it shine normal light too as well as a magnifier. I don't know the lumens cause it's infrared but with a drop in for normal light it would be 520.
I have a Surefire torch which uses an r2 drop in unit. I have it in natural light but I also have an IR drop in too. - 520 lumens. I have a convex lens for it too so I get about 500ft with it on water - maybe 700.
Lastly - I don't have it yet but I am getting a surefire torch with an output of either 900 lumens or 1100 lumens and an infrared drop in and magnifier for it.
Just wondering if anyone else likes these sort of things. Oh and all those lumen figures are never true (I was just copying what the manufacturer said) I'd say subtract 100-200 and you have your figure.
