Hi, i want to upgrade my rifle but i only need a 517mm inner barrel and i found a 555mm 6.03 laylax barrel, so i need to cut it to a 517 mm length. This could be a good idea?

Can be done, with the right tools. Cutting and re-crowning has been done a million times already.

But 555 and 517mm are really, really long barrels. Are you sure your gun has enough cylinder volume to push that?

What's the base gun, what's your FPS?

Well, my rifle is a vsr type, is a echo1 m28 and the stock barrel is 517mm 6.06 but i found this https://shop.ehobbyasia.com/upgrade...-barrel-for-marui-l96-sniper-rifle-500mm.html maybe will work fine? Btw, it have the stock spring (m140) but really really used! He lose his power by 30 to 40% there's no m140 springs, so i purchase a m130 laylax

I'm not familiar with the m28 platform, but if the cylinder is VSR-type, you'll be much better off with a 428/430 inner barrel. Which are far more common.
