Last time I saw a real one was over in Iraq. They are some sweet rifles.

Are we talking actual "sniper rifles" or rifles that could be?

Because my .22 was actually a sniper rifle back in WW2 Was used by the russians in the ruins of St. Petersburg.

Do a search on russian .22 sniper rifle And read up on the history of it.

A sniper rifle, even in real steel, isn't always about extreme distance. They have been made to be silent but EXTREMELY accurate. And from around 150 yards they can be extremely deadly.

There were.versions of both. They uses cm-2 for training and when them biathlons were out of service.

Both were used with great success.

Just about all of my rifles love it.

It is always great to have an awesome looking rilfe, that will also shoot. Everyone needs something like that.

And that USO optic is very nice my good man. Been wanting to get one for my target rifle for a while now.

Sorry to tell you this man ..... but if you do that to the rifle, you then have an illegal weapon

Being as it is a select fire rifle, you need a special licence to own the "shooting" rifle. And any decent gunsmith will know this and tell you to take it out of his shop. And if he does do anything to the rifle to make it shoot...I would take it to the police and get rid of it.

I know some of them were modified to fire full auto


That and being as it isn't registered through the BATF as a shooting rifle, then it is illegal if you do anything to it. And if it does in fact have a suppressor at the end, then again illegal as hell. I wouldn't even want to have pictures of it, or be associated with it.

Now you can have it registered through the BATF but it will take time and money to do, and to be honest...... it wont be worth it. Keep it as a wall hanger and leave it at that.

I personally know as I am going through the process right now to get a suppressor.

It is federal law, you can own them in Ak but you still need the tax stamp. ;-)

Got ya.... I have been looking at a digital night scope for my suppressed .22lr. Would be a great little gun then
