Not sure if real steel is allowed or not, if not, my apologies.

So, this may not classify as a true sniper rifle by our western standards, but let's just say with 7n1 ammo you don't want to be within 800 meters.

All numbers matching, mint, unfired, complete set in the box Norinco NDM-86. Chambered in 7.62x54R

Let's see your sniper rifles!

-Edit- Can't believe the thought of putting this thread in the gallery section didn't even occur to me ::)

Nothing wrong with the Tigers at all in the accuracy department, with just a little bit of time and money they can easily be changed from their civilian hunting rifle look to that of the SVD.

I was able to snag this for only 3850$, which for the condition it is in was a steal. Once I get back home, I'll try to get some range pictures Monday.

Not of my own.
Well that's no fun then if everyone just grabbed some random picture off the internet.

I thought the .22 the Russians use in the military is based on the Izhmash Biathlon receiver and action, not the CM-2?

Just put 120 rounds the Dragunov today and all I can say is, "Wow..."

Accuracy was alright with the Wolf 148gr Bi-Metal FMJ, didn't really do any target shooting because I left the bi-pod at home. But there was a mannequin left at the rang that we shot at at 300M with ease.

Can't wait to get some 7n1 and Wolf Gold 150gr

Quick picture out deer hunting in Texas just before sunset. Using some old farm equipment for a blind substitue over looking a wheat field ~250yrds away. Ended up with a nice bodied 8pt mule deer. Not worth mounting for a trophy, but got a good amount of meat from him after quartering him and cleaning him out.

Still waiting on my polymer stock to go with the handguards to get here. Got some more mags and a crate of some 7n1 coming my way too.

Well, it is night vision from the 70's. Look at the AN PVS 2 for size comparison. For it's age, and cost, I think it's a hell of a piece. It's by no means a modern day Gen3 clarity, but compared to other modern day Gen1 pieces I have messed around this thing is far better. Most Gen1 of today need an IR light to be shining to function well, but because this one uses 3 tubes lined in front of each other it's almost like a Gen1+ or Gen 2-. It does suffer from a fish bowl effect around the edges, but after about 5 minutes of playing with the thing it becomes unnoticeable surprisingly.

I have heard that this scope does not work in absolute pitch dark though unless an IR light is used. I'm not sure how dark it has to be to get to that point though, there is no moon out tonight, just stars, and I was getting a great picture with it.

If you can find one for only 100 Euro, that is a steal. Look into how easy AA adaptors are to make for this, put one together, and use it to test out the scope to make sure it still works.

I'll use my Hero3 here in a moment to try and put together a demonstrating video to show how it works. Although, as I'm sure we know, trying get a camera shot inside any scope is never easy and generally looks terrible.
