I appoligize if this has been covered somewhere, but I did a quick search and didn't come up with anything.
With my SL9 I was given a LiPo battery pack that the previous owner had been using (how he was using it I don't know since all of his wiring was stock). However, I can't use it since I don't have a LiPo set up for charging, yet I know it is something I should probably get.
So, I am wondering if anyone has links or a step by step for explaining the differnet parts of a LiPo system and defining the slightly different termonology. I've seen the term "LiPo ready" and stuff, and know that you need 16g wire etc. and I am wired on the box for it, my main questions lie around charging, discharging, balancers, chargers, cells etc. and if/how they differ from traditional NiCad. Thanks!
Edit: I'm also wondering what considerations need to be made when running a MOSFET with a LiPo.
