You're going to want some new gears, I know Guarder for sure makes torque up gears for a version 7 gearbox, Prometheus might as well, but you'll have to be careful because TM and G&G M14s aren't cross compatible. Also, you're going to want a new Guarder Infinite torque or Systema Magnum motor. New wiring with a mosfet, and possibly a tightbore as well.

Also, from personal experience, I can tell you that a G&G M14 is a COMPLETE bitch to work on. The the only gun within my team that I hate to work on, so keep that in mind before you make any decisions.

Thank you for responding. I was thinking TM but, the price for a M14 was i think $140 more. I was not confident on my abilities with the gearbox (haven't gotten there yet) so i was going to take it to AEX.

If you're going with TM, you're going to have to look for different upgrades/manufacturers, since I'm not at all familiar with them. I just know they're not cross-compatible.

Also, keeping in mind that you don't want to do the upgrades yourself, I know a lot of places charge extra for work on an M14.

I dont know why mate, I've got 2 G&G 14s and there just as easy if not more so than doing an M4, a TM M14 on the other hand, I dread having to work on. (I speak from alot of practical experiance as I'm our club armourer and cheif up-grader ;) )

Panolf - Take a look at the other M14 threads in this section most are G&G related and I know I've posted a list of my up-grades in 1 of them somewhere
If you need more advice PM me ;)

I can tell ya that when I got my ex TM M14 upgraded our local all-weapons-expert told me that Guarder is pure crap when it comes to er... what are they... Wheels? The machinery inside the mech-box anyway. And also piston and cylinder if I remember correctly, he planted Prometheus ones in my gun and as he said, they work as a DREAM, with other parts being Guarders. =)
