Hi All,

I have several different airsoft guns. The idea for me is to kind of have the right set of gear to cover the gamut, and a big part of that is buying BBs that are properly balanced between performance, availability, and price.

So if it helps anyone, here's the set of BB's that I use.

0.20 --> (In standard AEG's) I use Crossman either normal or Bio. Nothing special, they do great, feed just fine, don't break easily and don't jam. ($10/5000)

0.25 --> (Standard AEG for outdoor) - I use Crossman heavy loads. Also about $10 per 5000, and same thing but they're black.

0.30, 0.36 --> (Stock spring snipers and AEG DMR) I use Devil Blaster since these sizes work flawlessly and are priced good.

0.40 --> I don't have access to a workable 0.40 I am happy with now. DO NOT ever waste your money on the Devil Blaster 0.40's as they have a pasty powdery substance that "basically leaks out of the BBs". Wash them, polish them, and put them up... Within a few days the powdery substance starts to come back. (Either something is coming out of solution in the mix, or something is corroding producing the white powdery oxidation.

0.43 --> Devil blaster are great here, but black. Price is about $15-$19 per 3000.

No heavier options at the moment but nothing upgraded to the point those make sense.

**** CONSIDERING THESE ****

Lancer Tactical 0.40 - Their lighter BBs are good. I simply use the Crossman only because they work just as good and are both cheaper and stocked at my local Wal-Mart. Those options stop at 0.28 though.

What are some good options that are more easily available in the USA, while being really good without needlessly breaking the bank?

Ideally grey or white BBs.

MP7: evike .25g. I got them cheaply, they work very well in my AEP.
AR, G17, SCAR, AK: Jag or G&G .28g. G&G's are very nice, Jags aren't as good but still good.
KC02: G&G .28g. They work much better in my KC02 than other brands for whatever reason.

I'm going to use .25's in my SCAR when I do a high speed build, I'll go through too much ammo to use heavier BB's.

.3's in everything , .2's to chrono. .4's in the bolt gun (I only buy 1 bag every two years or something like that. hehehe) These are all locally bagged and tagged. With the goofy hops I'm running now, anything lighter than a .3 will just take off into space.

I run primarily Elite Force, G&G, and BLS. (All bio btw)

Pistols .28
AEG: .28-.32
Sniper rifles: .32-.43

Really depends on the field rules on what I run.
