hey guys so i spent well over 900 dollars on the most easiest gun to upgrade and still cant get it to shoot at a consistent 250ft which i believe should be easy for a Tm vsr 10 pro sniper fully upgraded i currently have

edgi 6.01 barrel
edgi piston, spring guide, spring shooting at 500 fps with .25
pdi w bucking
pdi v trigger
aa hop up
pdi barrel spacers and even foam in my stock ( heard it helped)

can someone please let me know what i can do? im pretty sure its working on my hop up but idk what to do at this point

If you're getting random performance:

What kind of performance *do* you get at 250ft? At that distance, even the slightest breeze will cause some deviation in windage. If you're getting a good flight path in the vertical, you're probably getting good hop though.

What ammo are you using? To reach out that far, you really should be slinging heavyweights: 0.36g to 0.43g.

If you're getting consistent deviations (always to the right, always to the left, etc.):

Is your hop nub centered? This was my trouble for a long time. I eventually got a USB bore camera, which I now use when I reassemble my hop/barrel assembly.

If your nub is centered, is your inner barrel mounted level? Is your scope mounted with the vertical line plumb to the hop nub (not necessarily level!)?

You have high quality parts, now you have to tune them to work together. Check things like:

how good is your piston air seal
how good is your air nozzle to bucking air seal
these things can lead to inconsistent fps output

Make sure you have the right bucking/nub combo, also I don't know anything about the pdi bucking so I don't know if that one is recommended or not. If it is not, look into 9ball/laylax, r hopping, or maple leaf.

Make sure your bucking and barrel are properly aligned, off center will result in the bb starting to hook left or right at longer ranges.

What weight/brand bb's are you using. Are you using heavy enough ammo. Also not all heavyweights are created equal and different guns like different ammo.

Canting the rifle can play a big factor at longer ranges especially in airsoft because of the hop up. Either learn to keep the rifle constantly level or buy a spirit level.

Also make sure the externals of your rifle cant move around too much, check the receiver to barrel doesn't wobble too much or the scope mount doesn't wobble too much.

EDIT: was writing this at the same time as netzapper so we cover some of the same points

What bb's are you using? High quality bb's are a must. And not just "high quality" because the shop calls them "high quality", but actual high quality bb's. And of course they need to be heavy enough

How many barrel spaces do you have, and how is the spacing on them?
If you've poorly placed your spacers you'll get some nasty vibration. I would recommend adding a lot more if you don't have many, I recently re-spaced my barrel with duct tape and at least 95% of the barrel is covered. Shot groupings are beautiful now

Barrel spacers not only reduce vibrations but they also can help straighten your inner barrel if it has some small bend in it. This can be a common occurrence.
