So I'm having some trouble with my glock, really the same deal where it starts getting stuck half way and dumping all the gas. What would you guys suggest I get to replace it? I've heard Tokyo Marui stuff is pretty good so I was thinking I would try them out. Let me know what you would suggest.

I have a friend with a beautiful TM high capa that has never failed him, another with a TM Glock AEP he glorifies, and I personally love the TM Px4 Storms. Really it depends more on what looks you like, then go from there into TM or KWA's new lineup.

Tokyo Marui is king. I have a series 70 1911 from them and I absolutely love it. It will outperform my Kwa match any day.

If you cannot afford the TM, the KJW 1911 clone's are really nice. It is also completely TM compatible so you can start upgrading it with the nice TM parts as you get the money for it. I'm hitting a head sized target at 100 feet with .32's with only a few DIY mods. one word of caution, if you use a CO2 in it you can bust the barrel bushing, i replaced mine with a cheap real steel one and have not had the issues since. (this is a 1911 A1 I got from asgi)

Well as all mentioned above TM is indeed king.
I love the 1911 look but the small gas reservoir complicates thing especially at low temp.
For this reason I'd suggest the Hi Capa, it has the 1911 looks and bigger gas capacity. It's probably one of the best pistol platforms out there. There's a huge variety of parts to choose when you get bored.
You can choose from the tactical look..

To the highly custom racing ones..

Also if you want a Glock the TM are good but also the KSC/KWA are very good.

I'd only urge you to stay AWAY from WE! Especially their Hi Capa and 1911! I haven't messed around with the others but to be honest I really don't want!

If you the feel of the Glock then have a look at the Tokyo Marui Gas blowback Glock 17. I have one and love it!

I was actually looking to switch over to a 1911 type platform so looks like the HI-Capa is what I was looking for thanks guys!

You won't regret it! The TM's are amazing strait out of the box! Even the hop up is finely tuned!

One last question, I'm stuck between the 4.3 and the 5.1..
and is it ok for me to run them with propane?

Some might run them with propane out of the box. I would say don't run it with propane unless you upgrade it to a metal slide.

I run mine on propane though green gas is recomended. The slide can crack due to the extra punch but mine hasn't cracked yet. I have around 1000 rds through mine and it was in the Houston heat. You can get stock replacement parts pretty cheap or you can moddify the pistol like wolf said.

It's safe to run it with green or propane but it would be better to install a metal slide and metal outer barrel/chamber.
TM manual suggest hfc134a not green gas!

Not to seem helpless but I have only found a few TM guns at all. I found a 4.3 on airsoftatlanta, none on Evike, Redwolf had the most but only a 4.3, an m9 on airsoftgi, none on airsoft mega store, might be one on airsplat never found any though, none on sports only auction, and one on ebay (actually was a 5.1). Do you guys know of any more retailers/ auction sites I could check?

Some build can be really expensive.
The trick is to take it slow, don't buy all the stuff together.
I've paid for the V12 ~$160 for barrel, chamber and slide, for the open SV IMM the cost went over $1000!
