my gun was used when I got it - and it had an air leak. It was shooting around 330 with .20s, a new $18 cylinder head solved the problem for me and it was shooting 376 with .30s at last chrono, same internals otherwise...
I would check and replace the o-ring(s) on the cylinder head and possibly piston if you see those being cracked, and possibly use teflon tape around the area that needs to be bored out to put in new internals....
- pss10 trigger and piston sear
- pss10 piston (cut the airbreak and used stock o-ring)
- pss10 spring guide
- pss10 spring guide stopper
- stock cylinder head
- stock cylinder.
i tried both stock bucking and firefly bucking and also tried pss10 cylider head from my vsr-10 prosniper. but the reading are still the same. my compression is good too.
can i cut the stock spring and put it flat or in series with the 170 spring to get a certain fps? we have a limit of 575fps on .20 here where i live and was wondering if i can cut probably about half an inch form the stock spring to get about 550-560fps.
