I was wondering if anyone knew of a good molle vest that I could buy. I'm planning on eventually wearing this under a ghillie so it would need to be low profile. I would also really like it to be lightweight and breathable because I always get really hot when I'm playing so that becomes a serious issue when my goggles fog to 3ft of visibility from the heat and steam coming up out of my coat. I would prefer it to be $60 or less but I understand that good quality usually only comes with more money so if it's more I'll just save up to get it. I'm 5'8" and weigh 140 lbs if it helps. Links and personal experience would be greatly appreciated. ;)

Gorem,

You said battle belt twice... is there a reason or was it just a typo?

Also I would just like some advice on different molle vests. I could make another thread on just general sniper "under ghillie" gear later though.

There is also a lot of stuff like this out there: http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/MOLLE757-1.html
I just found that on a 10 sec google search. you find very different things when you search for "load bearing vest" as opposed to "tactical vest" or "molle vest".

Although to be completely honest, I just switched from a full tac vest back to a vietnam era pistol belt and suspenders... more mobile and I can carry just as much of the stuff that I NEED to play, and if I need more I just throw on a small pack or I have a stuff pouch rigged to the back.

The original reason why I wanted the vest was so that I could make a removable stalker ghillie using the molle on the back. Then I could put a pistol holster and maybe a mag pouch on the front. Plus I could always remove the ghillie netting from the vest if so that I could use it for something else if I wanted to.

I would recommend making some a ghillie throw that you would clip to the molle if you wanted to remove it, because molle webbing is really tight, and its bad enough trying to blend into my ghillie with the undersized netting I got in the first place...
