M130 spring maximum fps

That's just it, I don't want to buy multiple springs to try. I'm just curious if anyone has been able to achieve the near 500 mark with the m130, if not then I'll end up getting an m150 and cutting it down.
If the m130 is shooting "about 450 range" now with near perfect compression, it'll only drop due to the spring breaking in. But without a proper chrono, you just shooting in the dark. If it helps, I plan on installing a m150 and cutting coils to 500 myself. I always heard rule of thumb was get stronger, and cut down the power. Not only you can fine tune your FPS, but also cutting the spring, in /theory/, will increase the lifespan of it also. Just make sure the spring is broken in before cutting.

I should have been more clear in the original post when I said that I didn't have the parts as they were still in transit. I'm achieving this fps with the stock spring, cylinder, and piston.

Also I'm aware of that rule of thumb and information as well, I just wanted to see if anyone has achieved that fps with this particular spring because it was free, like I mentioned. I don't want to buy and cut a coil if I don't have to. I'll likely just go the washer- spacer route.

This post will give you a /rough/ idea what springs shoot at once broken in. Hope it helps!

That just seems to link me back to the index, but I am fairly certain I know the post you are referring to, I've been searching for someone who has hit 500 with an m130. I think that if I can hit 450 with a stock spring, I can get an m130 to hit 490 at the very least, via washer-spacers. I suppose all I can do is throw the bastard in, and get a real chrono.
Well, the post is called, "Choosing the right spring and making it work" by 1Tonne. And from his data, m130 springs only reach about 400 FPS broken in. Sounds like you would a lot of spacers to be able to reach to that point. Then again, I also know nothing about how much FPS can be gained using washer-spacers.

If you are using the JG BAR-10 as your starting rifle, 450 FPS is pretty great imo with the stock spring. On my BAR-10, with precision upgrades and full compression, I was only getting 410 FPS with .20's. Damn quality control.
