I'm looking to build a DMR off of an M14 EBR. I am fully confident in my choice of the M14 EBR so now I'm just curious to see what the more experienced guys have to say on what specific EBR I should get. Black EBR with the standard EBR-style adjustable stock/cheekriser is a requirement. Long-barrel is preferred but that's up for debate as well and which brand and model to buy. I'll be building it up to 550 FPS, semi-only. Assume budget is unlimited.

Buy a Polar Star Fusion Engine and install it into the EBR. Then, buy a Prometheus barrel of whatever length you want, and pay a pro to ER-hop it for you. HS5 will be expensive, but he'll do it if you make him a great offer. I will do it, but I will only install the Ice variant patches.

Any EBR should work, I would say go with G&P - theirs is really nice AFAIK. The TM is also good, though you may need to buy a regular M14 and then use a conversion kit or something.

@golden - doesn't mean you can't install one anyway. There is a local guy who has one installed in his EBR and it is one of the coolest things I have ever seen.

@wolfe - I really have no idea where they might be in stock, but try redwolf, tokyo model company, ehobby asia, those places. They are most likely to have it.

I've looked around and I've found DMR models (nylon composite stock, full stock, pistol grip) but no EBR models (aluminum body, telescopic stock and adjustible cheek riser) by G&P.

Hmm, I may have been misremembering, then.

If that is indeed the case (that G&P doesn't make an EBR), then I think the TM would be a good way to go. The KART is kinda wobbly and irritating.
