M14 idea NON DMR

If you plan to use a SOCOM16 with a supressor, so you can run a longer barrel as you dont want to run a long rifle, you may aswell get a 20'' barreled version as they'll both be the same length if you attach a 6'' supressor, and anything longer will be longer than a 20'', including its flash hider :shrug:

You realy dont need the extra inner barrel length as it doesn't affect the gun to the point you'd notice, infact Im fairly sure the TM versions both have a 430mm barrel inner regardless of outer length (can anyone confirm this for me? :shrug,


So just get the SOCOM16 and stop worrying about length, it doesn't make it perform any better ( so the wife keeps telling me :lmao

Try r-hopping your barrel with a decent TBB 6.03. If your looking for more range then the average AEG.

How difficult is the V 7 gear box to work on?

Not really difficult, pretty much same as v 2.

The motor is at a different angle, however. And the Hop is a bit dfferent.

Umm.. I'm no expert (there are plenty of others who definitely are), but:

Double torque gears with a high torque motor? So triple torque ;p?

1) Mosfet if running Lipo
2) Suggest 6.03mm inner barrel instead
3) Flat hop mod or R-hop
4) Sorbo pad
