on a 130% spring (Sp130's or m130's) I can achieve 500fps with a ~100% airseal.
My problem though, is using a 130 spring, the fps will decrease from 500fps to 400, due to the spring becoming weaker over time. Would I, therefore, be better off getting a 190spring, and chopping it down to 500fps? Would it maintain it's "elasticity" better?
Also, to those of you that don't know springs too well, the "130" means "130 percent of 1 joule".
For example, if we know 1joule can fire a .2gram bb at 328fps (or 100m/s as there are 3.28feet per meter), then a 130 spring will fire at 130% x 328fps = 426fps.
Of course, this depends greatly on your airseal: so if you are performing WORSE than this, you can improve your fps by improving your airseal.
