Hey guys,

First post here on this forum. I had a question about my Tanaka M24. I'm hoping maybe you guys here can help me a bit more than jumbled responses from MIA can.

Basically, the problem is this:

I have the mag in the rifle, full of gas (fresh fill), and I cock it. BB goes into the chamber. I pull the trigger but nothing happens. No click, no gas sound, no bb exiting the barrel.

What I have to do is recock the bolt and unfortunately allow two bb's to go through to fix the problem. Then its back to normal, at least for a while (maybe 6-10 rounds). This happens with both of my mags.

Has anyone ever experienced this before, and know how to fix it?

If it helps, I have a King Arms/2Roy Hop Up Conversion to use VSR barrels coming on its way.

THE SOLUTION: (Pending true testing) There is a small hex screw on the bottom end of the bolt, and it really needs to be tightened in order for the bolt to be able to allow the gas to be released and fire the bb.

Hey there and welcome to the forum! And please read the rules regarding posting here so you'll avoid further warnings beyond this first one of yours.

Dahm this is your first warning due to double-posting, like I said please refer to the rules about correct posting.

Reclamation notified and denied. We are Airsoft Sniper Forum, not Michigan Airsoft Forum. We have our rules which are either obeyed or you may satisfy yourself with reading only. Yes I am sure you'd like to bumb up your thread and in this case it's even acceptable since the thread is young enough.

Yet you are not allowed to double post. People who seek answer to this matter will find it even if this thread is not "bumbed up". If they are too lazy to look more than the first few headlines on the board they don't need this information that badly. I sincerely suggest you to refer to our rules, they aren't negotiable.

Chill out Wandall. He is an airsoft sniper looking for a fix on his rifle.

You would want help also. This is a justified bump. He waited 2-3days before bumping.

Get off your Mod Highhorse.

I don't really have an opinion, but keep in mind that he was posting that he had found a solution. Simply adding it onto the original post wouldn't work as well.

Of course, people could find the addition if they tried

Rules are to be obeyed. Admins can bumb up threads so he should've asked us to do it for him, if he truly saw this problem to be so important that it needs to be announced so well.

I'm going to have to side with Dahm on this one. He's one of the more well respected members in the Michigan community, and the double post was justified by him waiting a few days and figuring out the solution.

Appreciate you doing your job, but just ease up a little. If the member is making a completely retarded post that doesn't help the situation at all, then they're asking for a warning on the double post.

10-4, I apologize. Maybe I'm too accustomed in Finnish work and rule efficiency.
I'll personally apologize him directly if he is still interested to be here. You probably can tell him this?
