So I'm thinking of getting my M4 back from my friend before he moves, and I want to shorten it down so its easy to carry on my back via rifle scabbard or sling, I was wondering if anyone has ideas or has done this before and what they think, my other option is to buy a MP7 or MP9 or something like that, but I'm a M4 fan.

Are you familiar with the "patriot" m4? It has a little Bitty barrel and its cute( the way a 3.8 1911 is cute). Also if you ris the lilttle guy he starts looking pretty intimidating ...

Who says you need a barrel? I would just put the delta ring on, maybe a 2 inch barrel (just enough for the hop unit) and rock and roll!

I've heard of the patriot m4, looked at some of the conversions, its pretty sweet looking!

I have a buddy that has frankenstein m4 stubby. I wish i had a pic of it, but its really cool looking. And I'm not an m4 guy either.
