Sorry I didn't see this until just now. I recently took apart my clone (identical to your gun) and had the same problem, but thankfully figured it out.
This spring is longer than the stock one, and makes the gun noticeably louder because of it. It did allow .4g bbs to fly out flat to at least 250ft, instead of having to lob them.
This kit does not fit other than the sear itself, which does work in the stock unit.
Stock hop up unit is almost identical to VSR10, but has bucking slot on opposite side. This may require cutting down your bucking.
I made a playlist of useful videos regarding the gun that you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbBcQaDdqeQX4dqnZ4hkxbJQasePuNzB-
I too am planning on doing a review/upgrade video soon here. Honestly, between the spring and the hop up I don't think anything else needs to be done to the gun. Someone else said it here first, but I'll copy them - the gun is sleeper. Less than $150 into it and it shoots like a laser out to 250ft easy.
Couple of notes - stock barrel is bridged, so to fit a ML bucking you'll need to cut it down. Even when you do this, the bucking probably will stick out into the feeding chamber a bit. I cut mine down, but in retrospect it would have probably fed even without doing this. Stock bucking seems almost completely ineffective - I got the same distance (240ft) out of both .36g and .4g bbs with the stock gun, hop up maxed. Meanwhile, with a 70 MR Hop bucking I can now lift .46g well past 300ft.SR10 Buckings fit.
VSR10 upgrade trigger sears fit (pps/action army) however, they must be shimmed. I.E. place shims between the trigger box and receiver on top of the screws.
APS2 Springs, Spring Guide and Piston fit.
Action Army Hopup Chamber fits, however, mags need to be modified.
Add DIY barrel spacers as well as the stock one.
