Making a mortar?

I am thinking about making a motar. Powered by co2 with a spring nail mechanism that would puncture the top of the canister...
The reason this is under General Sniper Talk is because I know that real world snipers call in motars...
Do you think that this would be helpful and fun to use or a waste of time and money?

So you are saying you want to shoot the co2 canister?
They mortars that are currently for sale are either,
a) Explosive - using pyro and would require a permit to use more than likely.
b) - Dangerous. The one that is for sale from airsoft world fires a huge projectile, which is fairly pointy, a few hundred feet into the air to land on top of you. It could fecking kill you!

Then in the BIG English games they have two stage mortars which you drop into a tube, go off by fuse, launch into the air, and explode just before they hit the ground. They are fricking awesome.

It would be much more worthwhile getting these
Fuck dude. Aside from the FPS limits UK has the best airsoft.
Huh? You haven't seen Finland, no fps limits, but games have this "universal" rule, 370 fps for full auto, 470fps for semi, 550 fps for bolt action.
We don't have any FPS outdoors either. But all the really big games I see with cool shit are usually in the UK. There was a game in the 90s where they brought in helicopters and stuff. That might have been paintball though. Scoutthedoggie's vids are awesome. I'd like to have those type of games down here.
Scoutthedoggie's vids are great... There is something about the snipers that that is just different... I don't think that they are true snipers...
I agree, the snipers in his vids are more of marksmen than anything. They're always near the action and play as part of the group. If you want true sniper then look up vavann56. That guy is an animal.
There is one of these games going on right now, as we speak. A few friends over there are probably doing night patrols right now, and then have fun with mortars, simulation airstrikes and other pyro in the morning. Jeeps too! It's mad cool. I wish I was old enough. :(

His videos are amazing. To say the least.

Also Helicopters were used recently in Stirling airsoft, they are also used for effect in Berget I believe.

Now that I think of it I saw a fella use a support gun from a Heli in America.
Here it is
WTF!? We need FORECON equivalent of this in America! See all the good airsoft is in the UK.

The above door gunner video was in America. The Stirling airsoft (UK) one I mentioned was just a drop off- paid for privately by a bunch of "We own €200000 yachts we've used once" guys.
Am I the only jelly person here?

>: No. I'd really like to take part of games like that.
I'd like to be in the chopper in games like that....
Lets just get a golf cart and call that our "tank"
add a ICS grenade launcher and call it good...
One day I will do this. This is now on my bucket list.
