The 6.01 will take a few hundred (6-900) rounds to break in, and is likely the culprit. The easiest way to break it in is if you have an AEG, install it in that, and just run a few mags through and semi-auto and a few round bursts. After it's broken in, it'll be considerably better.
Also, I'd suggest sticking with a soft bucking if you're looking for consistency. Hard buckings, even if higher-powered guns wont be nearly as consistent. The down-side is with a few months use, you'll need to replace the soft bucking. But, to me, it's completely worth it for the consistency. Also, a hard bucking is designed for a 450+ FPS gun, and performs fairly sub-par if it's anything under.
