The TBB I was looking at getting just went out of stock. Does anybody know the quality of this type of barrel?

I have ordered about 20 of them, 80% of them are very nice, 20% have a wavy surface looking down them, so it is hit or miss.

I'd spend the extra on a higher quality barrel.

Well, if they just rebrand prometheus barrels, this is a great barrel. If they try to make their own, then I got nothing.

I highly doubt its a rebranded Prome.

From what I read, it's not a rebrand. It's supposed to be an exact copy of the Prommy barrels but instead made by Matrix.

I don't want to incriminate anybody so let me keep this plain and simple.

Someone who is employed by that company told me to NEVER buy their barrels for various reasons (mostly QC). I'm not lying nor joking; this person said it themselves and they are one of the most experienced persons I know at said company.
