I am getting my MB-05 custom painted its going to be basically red tiger stripes along with some blue tiger stripes with my fire teams logo on the stock. I am not doing the paint job my friend is, and it will be a while until its done but when it is I will post pictures.

Can I ask why you would want to paint your rifle red and blue? Pretty sure there is not much of those colors out in nature, and I believe the only time that kind of color scheme does not stick out is in COD, correct me if I am wrong.

I didn't say it was supposed to make me any more hidden. But it will look cool

It will most likely make you stick out more. I understand looks are always nice, but I would just feel too vulnerable carrying around a rifle that sticks out that much. Unless you are in an urban setting, wouldn't that color scheme defeat the purpose of a ghillie and other forms of camo? After all, us snipers have to take advantage of our ability to remain hidden/undetected by using various forms of concealment.

Yeah but I have a ghille cover so when I am in an urban environment I can just take it off. But I totally understand what your saying.

If I were you I would just get some OD paint and a dark blue(If you are still using unnatural colors). It would look very different and it would blend much better than Red and Blue.

With all of my guns I do custom paint jobs on u paint them OD and add light green, brown,and maybe a little tan. But hey, if your in an urban setting its all the same as long as you remain in the shadows.

I ended up changing my mind on the paint job and got him to paint it woodland camo he isn't quite done yet but it looks really good so far. I will get pictures up as soon as I can.
