how's that Dees Custom .01 barrel? ive been thinking about one but i dont know anyone who has one.
The first barrel they sent me was a complete POS. They asked me to send it back so they could further test it to figure out what was causing the problem, and the results were inconclusive. They sent me a new barrel and it appears to be much better - though I'm still breaking it in. They told me it would take about 500-800 round break in period. I've shot maybe 450 through this thing - the velocity increase thus far has been about 35 FPS and I'm easily hitting targets at 300 feet. I'm expecting the velocity to increase more as I get through the break in period.

At first, I didn't like the Neo piston, because I ordered a 3 Element piston and they sent me the wrong thing; I didn't feel like sending it back, so I kept it. I will say, it's lighter weight and quieter than the other pistons I've used in my guns.

Well I think it has a air brake tech installed in the piston head to silence the gun, but does that lessen the guns performance?

Velocity-wise there was not difference between it and the PDI Hard Piston. Range-wise, not sure, I never really tested it, but if velocity wasn't affected, I wouldn't think range would be.
