I'm going to regret this but I really don't like the overall look of the MB-05. The Tanaka though, to me is indeed sexy. Also are that many magazines necessary? I'm not commenting negatively, I just don't really like the look of the gun. Did you do the camouflage on it yourself?

Yes, 6 mags is necessary some games I play can be up to 3 days long and you cant reload mags on the field you have to go to a "ammo box" to do it. So if you are in a sweet and dont want to leave because you are almost out of ammo, it comes in handy.

Also I did do the camo my self it was my first time trying it usually I use a rifle wrap. Not that I mind you saying the mb05 is ugly, because its all in the shooters mind what he wants. I find that it is a very comfortable and easy to use, it feels better then the tanaka. Trust me when you are scoped for hours at time doing surveillance comfort is something you want.

Hidden, I have got quite the few mags myself. How are they holding up? One of my mags chipped at the top and is now unusable. Not a huge deal, but was just wondering if you have ever had any problems with them.

I like the rifles. The scope on the MBO5 and the harris bi-pod make it work for me. What kind of wrap do you roll with? Would like to see some pics outdoor with it in use.

Typically not a fan of the MB05 but you made it work for me.

Of coarse use whatever you want, it's your decision and accuracy isn't all important for extended games. Also sorry I didn't realize you played Mil-sim games where I understand many mags are necessary.
Well with all the upgrades I plan to do it will be the same as a upgraded mazuran.

Thanks fuzzy, I will try to get a couple pics when I go, its about a hour drive to were I play. I plan on adding a harris and a bigger scope on the tanaka as well as a silencer or a flash hider. Just dont know to get the v-trigger for the MB05, or externals for the m40.

Also on the mags I used to have 10, but recently I had to get out off a roof quickly and lost 4 of them repelling, needless to say what happen to them from 4 stories up :'( But I have dropped one off a table and the plastic cracked and it wouldn't work right anymore. So they are pretty finicky.
